Codigo 1530 Rosa is rested just long enough in Napa Cabernet wine barrels to enrich the natural agave juice, without overpowering its delicate botanical balance.
Rosa barrels are left uncharred, allowing the Cabernet to interact directly with the tequila, imparting a subtle pink hue and light floral finish.
Codigo 1530 is private recipe tequila that has been contracted by a family in Los Cabos for almost a decade, before finally becoming a commercial product in the U.S.
Made at NOM 1500 by Tequileria las Juntas, the product was nameless for many years, existing solely as the house brand for family members and friends.
