Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled at Craigellachie in Speyside, Scotland, this single malt begins its life in the distillery’s typical maturation regime, using a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. After approximately 12 years of maturation, it is then finished for just over one year in Bas-Armagnac casks sourced from Gascony in southern France. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and in natural colour, preserving the full integrity of the spirit.


Tasting Profile

  • Nose: Bright and inviting—initial aromas of baked apples, orange peel and pear drop sit alongside vanilla custard and a subtle herbal undercurrent. French-oak warming and a hint of dried-fig sweetness emerge with time.

  • Palate: Medium-bodied with a smooth, full texture. Flavours of caramel-shortbread, malted barley sweetness and orchard fruit are complemented by warm spice—ginger, cinnamon—and a light burst of tropical pineapple. The Armagnac-cask finish brings gentle dried-fruit depth and a whisper of walnut-skin nuttiness.

  • Finish: Long and satisfying. The lingering frame includes toasted oak, honeyed malt, subtle liquorice and a delicate chalky mineral thread, leaving a refined, clean after-taste that invites another sip.
