Created in honor of Madame Clicquot—the visionary known as “La Grande Dame of Champagne”—this 2015 vintage Rosé is a masterful blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, featuring Grand Cru fruit from the house’s finest vineyards in Aÿ, Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, Bouzy, and Avize. A small addition of Pinot Noir red wine from Clos Colin in Bouzy (about 13%) imparts the rosé’s luminous salmon-pink hue and refined fruit structure. The 2015 growing season was warm and balanced, yielding grapes of concentration and elegance. After extended aging on lees in Veuve Clicquot’s chalk cellars, the wine emerges with remarkable texture, aromatic intensity, and tension—a quintessential example of Veuve’s powerful Pinot Noir signature elevated to its most refined form.
