Expresiones del Corazon were created through the partnership of three men. Tequila expert David Grapshi brought together his dream team to create the world's first tequila barrel expressions: Master Distiller Miguel Cedeno Cruz, whose lifetime career has been agave cultivation, distillation and tequila production, and Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley, who has two decades of experience crafting bourbon and barrel selection. Together the trio sourced the perfect Los Altos agave, and acquired the perfect barrels from George T Stagg, Old Rip Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace and Sazerac Rye.
